We’re looking for a senior writer to support our growing copy team. Beyond actually writing for us (long and short form copy), you’ll be working with the Head of Copy and our writing team on research, ideation, strategy and more.

The role

  • Work with the Head of Copy and senior writers, as well as our creative and account management teams (social, digital and production) on all copy requirements for accounts across the UAE and KSA
  • Support our Head of Copy on strategic content conversations across key client accounts, ensuring copy, scripts and ideas are delivered to the highest levels for all clients.
  • Support Head of Content with research and ideation for key client business as well as support junior writers with the development of ideas for content calendars, campaigns, proposals and more
  • Work with the Head of Copy in developing messaging, tone and content strategy for social and digital campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Social, Creative Directors, Social Directors, Head of Data, copywriters and account teams and leaders.
  • Support account teams with presentations to clients in collaboration with creative teams and the Head of Copy.
  • Develop thought pieces, content strategies and insight-based presentations for clients as required.
  • Work alongside social, creative and communications leads to ensure content is of the highest standard across accounts.
  • Shape language and tone on all accounts supporting junior writers as needed.
  • Copy includes long and short form across all digital channels - social, emails, website, videos, animations, media banners.
  • Script development across social video and motion assets as well as video assets.
  • Support and direct community management teams on content strategy in alignment with client content strategy.
  • Attend client meetings and workshops alongside the client service team leads as required.
  • Work collaboratively with client’s partners and agencies particularly the PR and Communications teams.
  • Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content offering.
  • Keep up to date with social content best practices and guidelines.
  • Work in collaboration with the Creative Director and creative leads as well as other designers as well as animators and editors to ensure copy suits ideas and creative assets.
  • Collaborate with writing team on projects as needed, supporting, mentoring and training junior writers on projects you work closely with them on.
  • Support junior writers on short- and long-form copy briefs
  • Ensure tone of voice guidelines are applied appropriately to client content.
  • Manage and run key accounts as custodian of copy/ content strategy
