Integrated Account Director with Extensive Social Experience to join our Social team in a Senior Role. Immediate start, Dubai Based. Must be bilingual (English and Arabic)

We are looking for an experienced Integrated Account Director to join our team. The expectations for this role are listed below, however a level of flexibility is expected from everyone in the teams due to the nature of our client account. The focus is very much on Social Media as we are a Socially Led agency but with the nature of our clients, an Integrated approach is needed.

Job Description

The Integrated Account Director’s primary role is to lead key accounts working closely with the clients and teams to retain and develop business across projects, campaigns and retainer based accounts. The Account Director must be able to demonstrate a real understanding of our client’s business and deliver socially focused solution that are effective, compelling and measurable. He / she will strategically lead the successful development of integrated communication plans and activities for our clients, bringing ideas and plans to life, ensuring their excellent delivery. The role requires a leader, a storyteller and an orchestrator. Our clients are based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi so commuting and flexibility is a must I addition to a thorough understanding of working in this region.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically and Operationally supporting the Group Account Director, leading a team of Account Managers, Account Executives, Creatives and Community Managers to ensure complete integration and delivery quality work across digital channels and ongound events.
  • Ensure all client briefs are clearly written, briefed in, managed, reviewed and executed against approved strategy and editorial calendars.
  • Define and lead social media strategy and content development for assigned client projects, retainers, briefs and live events.
  • Manage the workflow, operational and quality processes within the team and across other agency departments including Creative, Data & Performance, Production, CRM, Digital and Finance with a solid understanding and working background of each department.
  • Ensure a high level of strategic, creative and digital implementation outputs.
  • Oversee the production & live coverages process, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the daily updates with the Account Team, ensuring the daily operations are being followed – updating status sheets & tracker sheets for accounts across social, digital and CRM.
  • Liaise with Traffic to ensure resources are booked for all required tasks.
  • Initiates the integrated involvement of the agency teams and departments to deliver all client communication solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with Agency’s partners including Media Agencies, Innovation Partners, PR & Activation, Offsite production teams, among others, to deliver solid integrated initiatives for our clients.
  • Drive measurement and evaluation of all activities.
  • Ensure accountability is established during the project planning process for teams, internal account management, reporting functions and freelancers.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships between Client and Agency teams, providing leadership and support during strategy development, ideation and execution.
  • Manage, mentor and grow her/ his team.

Experience

  • Must have UAE government experience on marketing/ communication / social projects.
  • Have worked in integrated agencies as a lead across functions.
  • Fully understand social media – strategy, planning and campaign execution as well as reporting and measurement.
  • Fundamental knowledge of financial process – costing, profitability, estimations, managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Experience working on CRM/ Data / Digital / Web projects.
  • Experience working on production projects including costing, set up and delivery of live event coverage.
  • Experience managing a large team across creative/strategy and production.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports.
  • Has to have worked in region for at least 5-7 years.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic.
