Account Executive to join social team: immediate start

We are looking for an Account Executive (preferably Arabic speaker) to join our team. The expectations for this role are listed below, however a level of flexibility is expected from everyone in the teams due to the nature of our client account.

The Social Account Executive ’s primary role is be working closely with the business lead and Account Manager supporting the team with all daily management of the social media channels of our clients accounts. We will look for you to quickly build a rapport with the team as you learn more about the businesses and to offer thought, insights and suggestions into the process for all accounts. You will work closely with and support all members of the team for day to day account management as well as community management, social posting and creative development. The clientele is based in Abu Dhabi so commute and flexibility is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Account Management team working closely with the creative, copy, community management, and reporting team to ensure all client briefs are clearly written and then briefed in, managed and reviewed against strategy prior to sharing with client.
  • Liaise with the traffic manager to ensure resources are booked in for the required tasks.
  • Support the account manager with all levels of client approvals on content as well as re-briefing creative teams as needed.
  • Overseeing the editorial calendars, checking, proof-reading captions and copy, and quality check to ensure there are no mistakes before publishing.
  • Attend live coverages, social shoots and project launches whenever required.
  • Manage daily updates of the status and tracker sheets for the accounts.
  • Learn about the clients’ industry and business activities to suggest more personalised solutions across the different channels.
  • Constantly be innovating across digital channels. Being innovative and aware of recent trends and applying industry insights into the accounts.
  • Take ownership of your accounts, and work with the talented resources you have available to make sure we are delivering on the strategy whilst being data led in our decisions.
  • Support in developing and managing client communication requirements – status sheets, meeting notes and timelines for all projects across channels.
  • Liaising with supporting agencies to maintain a smooth flow of campaign asset delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in social media.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow the brand & provide insights and creative solutions.
  • Possess a creative mindset.
  • Background in content creation is a plus.
  • Understanding of live coverage, social shoots with experience in onground activations.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
